HOW LONG IS THE RABIES SHOT GOOD FOR?
The rabies vaccination can be an annual shot lasting only one year or it can be a three year shot. This depends on the age of your pet. If your pet is over the age of one, the three year shot can be administered.
 
WHAT IS BORDETELLA/KENNEL COUGH?
A baterial infection
 
HOW LONG IS THE BORDETELLA SHOT GOOD FOR?
The bordetella shot is an annual shot and good for only one year.
 
WHY DOES MY PET NEED A FECAL TEST?
The fecal test is checking for a parasite in your pets stool. The result MUST be negative in order to participate in our daycare program or to board. This is in the best of your pet and all of our other guests. Bathroom accidents do occur inside our facility and because all our guests are interacting, it's safer and minimizes the risk of illness.

Monday - Friday = 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday = 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sunday = CLOSED 
 
 
WHY DO I GET CHARGED AN EARLY CHECK IN/LATE CHECK OUT?
Our check out and check in times are placed in order to provide the safe and clean environment we promise.

• 11:00 AM - CLOSE 

Check out time:

• OPEN - 11:00 AM = NO ADDTIONAL CHARGE
• 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM = CHARGE OF 1/2 WHICHEVER ACCOMODATION YOU BOARDED IN
• 3:00 PM - CLOSE = A FULL CHARGE OF WHICHEVER ACCOMODATION YOU BOARDED IN

We use the time between 11:00 AM and CLOSE to make sure all of our accomidations are cleaned, sterlized and prepared for our new and current guests.
 
IS THERE A PERSON ON THE PREMISES AT ALL HOURS?
The kennel staff leaves at 7:00 PM Monday-Friday, and 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Our night crew comes in at 10:00 PM, lets all of our guests out and stays over night cleaning and sterilizing the entire facility. They do not leave until the kennel staff returns in the morning of the following day.
 
SHOULD I BRING IN MY OWN FOOD?
Yes. It's much better for your dogs digestive system. Do to the stress level of being in a strange place, keeping your pet on his/her original diet will cut back on loose stool and vomitting. 
 
SHOULD I BRING IN A BLANKET OR BEDDING?
Yes. Something that reminds them of home will make their stay much more pleasant and less stressful.
 
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN MY PET COMES HOME?
The major differences you may notice with your pet is their eating and sleeping habits. Your pet will seem very tired for the first few days they're back at home. Most do not sleep well in a strange environment, and they are playing and getting exercise all day, everyday. They will also be eating and drinking more then normal. DO NOT change their diet. DO NOT feed them more then usual. This could disrupt their digestive system and cause loose stool or vomitting. Keep them on their regular schedule. Some pets do not eat while they are away from home, others eat fine, but being back home where they are most comfortable will cause them to want to eat and drink more.
 
ARE THE DOGS KENNELED ALL DAY?
No. All of guests are out playing and interacting all day except for meal times and bedtime. Meals times are breakfast from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM, lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM and dinner from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Bedtime is from 7:00 PM- 10:00 PM. At 10:00 PM they are let out for their final potty break then put away again until 6:30 AM.
 
WHY DOES MY DOG TAKE SO LONG DURING GROOMING?
We make sure to give you the best service. We use high quality shampoo and conditioners. We start by double shampooing to make sure your pet is clean, then condition. Our bather makes sure your pet is completely dry before the grooming can start. Our groomer is one of the best, and she wants to make sure your experience will be a good one. Your dog has water availale to them at all times and is taken outside for potty breaks and to stretch their legs. Grooming appointments usually last about 3 hours, depending on what time your appointment is for and who came in before you. If a dog comes in matted, the appointments get pushed back alittle and may take alittle longer.
