From puppy to private classes we offer a wide variety of options to find the best fit for you. Whether you choose to stay and train for the day or spend a few nights with us as well, your furry friend will be exercised, socialized and trained.

My training is based on the tried and true methods used by police and private trainers for decades. I have over 15 years experience handling and training police canines. I have trained with trainers from all over the United States and Europe, both canine and civilian. I believe a correction should never be given before a desired behavior is taught and understood, a well timed, gentle correction will have a lasting effect."

My husband and I have a 70 lb Boxer/Lab mix. He is 2 years old and we adopted him when he was 8 weeks old. Harpua is very high energy, rambunctious, and playful. We wanted to have him trained because we have a 1 year old daughter and want to feel comfortable with him around her. We also wanted to be able to have people over to our house and take Harpua on trips. Before training he was jumpy, pulled on the leash and occasionally chewed items in the house. He went to training for 2 weeks. We are happy with Harpua’s behavior since the training. He definitely listens better in the house and is a good walker on the leash. We have experienced little to no accidents in the house.

We have control over him on and off leash. Every day I walk my dog several times with the baby and stroller and I am frequently stopped and told how well behaved my dog is. This could be people who knew him before and also new people in my neighborhood.

He is less hyper and more controllable. I feel safe knowing that my dog listens and responds to commands. We have furthered our responsibility of his training by continuing what he learned at home. Harpua now sits and waits before we walk through a door or go out through the garage door.

My husband and I are very happy with our training experience at the Pampered Pet. We also know that if we ever need a brush up on Harpua’s commands we can always call and ask for help. Their staff was patient with us and answered all our questions. I would recommend training at the Pampered Pet Resort and Spa.

Thought you would appreciate a little customer feedback. Arline and I are pleased with your training school. The training staff has done an outstanding job. Bo and Abby have learned a great deal during the course. We are constantly following up with the commands that were taught. We were particularly impressed on how they were able to train both dogs during each session.

By the way, Bo and Abby are always excited when they know they are on their way to the Day Care program. They look forward to the fun they have with your caring and friendly staff and playing with their new dog friends.
